I recently attended an excellent webinar on HR and AI organised by @Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Entreprises and hosted by @Isabelle Rouhan. It was a moment rich in insights into the profound transformations that await us. 💡
Isabelle painted a striking picture of the uses of generative AI in our daily professional lives and, above all, the massive impact it will have on our jobs, skills and working habits.

44% of our professional skills will be obsolete within 3 years (World Economic Forum). Not in 10 years, not in 5 years: in 3 years! ⏰
85% of the jobs of 2030 do not yet exist (Dell & Institute for the Future study). This means that most of us will be working in professions that are impossible to imagine today. 🚀
These figures raise a daunting question: will the technical skills we are teaching our learners today still be relevant in a few years’ time? The answer is increasingly uncertain.
While technical skills are rapidly becoming obsolete, soft skills are becoming the only truly lasting skills in our professional careers. ✨
And among these soft skills, communication stands out as THE universal skill 💬:
• Used in all professions, without exception
• Required in all situations, from everyday to critical moments
• Indispensable in human-machine as well as human-human interactions
The hidden cost of poor communication 💰
Poor communication is not just a nuisance. It is one of the main sources of conflict in the workplace, generating:
• Misunderstandings that slow down projects
• Tensions that damage the working atmosphere
• A considerable loss of productivity
• Increased staff turnover
In a world where AI will take on more and more technical tasks, our ability to communicate effectively, collaborate, build relationships and resolve conflicts will become our main differentiator.

Training your teams and yourself to communicate better is no longer an option, it is a strategic investment: ✅ For your professional career ✅ For your team and your company ✅ For your personal life
